Black shibori earrings with stone pendant

The shibori in these earrings come from a very old Japanese silk belt worn by men. I waxed the fabric slightly to make it more dirt resistant and stitched the fabric onto a frame I made of copper wire. The stone pendant is most probably olive green nephrite jade, and the hooks are sterling silver. Without the hook, the earring measures 2.5" long and the circle is 0.9" in diameter. Enjoy!
