Swedish folk art wool embroidery

While dated 'ANNO 1819', this beautiful folk art wool embroidery is a reproduction, probably stitched in the 1960's or 70's. The pattern is traditional from Scania/southern Sweden, featuring a rider on horseback (biblical figure or folk hero), flanked by tress, stags, birds, and playful flower scrolls. While not an antique piece, the craftswomanship, love, and time put in to completing this is impressive. This textile art is in mint condition and very well made. Beautiful to adorn a wall, or table, or turn into a cushion. The measures are 36" long and 26.5" wide.
